She was born on December 13th 1987 into a cultural family in Tehran/ Iran. From an early age, Elika was exposed to art because of her family and their love for art. When she was only six months old, her parents noticed that her visual sense was far more powerful than that of her sense of hearing. It was bitter reality to be faced with. She was born in a world full of silence and tranquility. During the decade of the Iran – Iraq war, Elika’s mother took her to the only existing sign language course from the time she was eleven months old.

For pre-schooling, in order for her to improve her communicative language skills, she regularly went to Baghcheban Number 5 School, which is a school dedicated in the educational development of children with hearing impairments. Although very difficult, Elika continued to learn and expand her knowledge in communication.

At the age of 7, she attended Baghcheban Number 2 School in Tehran and obtained a grade of A+ in all three levels of primary and secondary schools. Despite all the difficulties she faced, she managed to get a post graduate diploma from the Islamic Azad University in graphics with an average of 18.5/20.

She started painting at the age of two and gave life to the blank paper with her soul and spirit. She would express all her inner feelings and emotions through shapes and paintings, as if her only way of interaction with the outside world was with a painting brush and beautiful designs on paper.

Her talent is exceptional and her interest in painting is beyond description. Elika’s thirst for knowledge and learning is eternal. With limited resources and difficulties accessing proper educational systems, she managed to deal with the challenges.

After she went through all the challenges and hardships, at the age of 4, she eventually began to learn painting by attending courses held by the intellectual development center of children and teenagers number 26 in Tehran. At the time, apart from colored pencils and watercolor with which she had already experienced working, she became familiar with another painting tool named “Gouache “. Her talent for creating new and diverse colors in childhood astonished everyone. After 2 months, all these intensive efforts resulted in her holding an exhibition for her paintings, which the members of the institute and their families attended. She had a voracious appetite for learning and creating stunning works, which were of unbelievable uniqueness.

As she grew up, she attended Mr. Nakheie‘s courses to learn various techniques including black pen, chalk and pastel. She reached the point that principals of drawing had nothing to add to her talent as an artist.

Canvas, oil color and unparalleled talent, a new chapter of painting came to pass, but on a faceless canvas this time. She created impressive works and it was spectacular!

Time was going by and her artistic hands would consistently become more powerful. In a way that her dance of fingers on paper and canvas would give life to the identities.

Besides scholarly and learned masters including Mr. Nakheie, Mr. Heidari, Mr.Mousavi and finally eminent realist painter Mr. Morteza Katouzian that affectionately devoted their time, she has been learning many delicate techniques.

In conclusion, I just intended to portray my only sister’s art so that you also enjoy and bear in mind that;
